Who am I?

Originally from Kosovo, I've built my career supporting neurodivergent children and their families for over 12 years. After completing my psychology studies and working in Lyon, France, I relocated to Hamburg in 2021 where I now practice as an independent psychologist and behaviour analyst.

My approach combines scientific rigor with warmth and playfulness. Currently pursuing ABA certification, I'm dedicated to implementing evidence-based strategies that respect each child's unique personality and needs.

As an expatriate myself, I understand the challenges of adapting to new environments and cultures. I offer support in English, French, and Albanian, helping international families navigate both neurodevelopmental differences and cultural transitions.

How I Work

My approach is behavioral and systematic, yet always compassionate. I recognize that each child exists within a network of relationships and environments that shape their development.

I prioritize building strong connections with children through positive engagement while working collaboratively with families as essential partners in the process.

Creating interventions that respect individual differences while promoting growth is at the heart of my practice.

  • Systemic approach—considering the child within their entire environment
  • Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
  • TEACCH structured teaching methodology
  • RDI (Relationship Development Intervention) principles
  • Natural environment teaching (home, school, community)
  • Support for children, teenagers & adults
  • Services available in English, French & Albanian

Training & Experience

  • ABA Professional Certification (in progress, 2022-present)
  • University Degree in Autism and Associated Disorders (Lyon 1, 2015)
  • Master's in Health Psychology with Highest Honors (Lyon 2, 2013)
  • Bachelor's in Psychology (Lyon 2, 2010)
  • Bachelor's in Psychology (Pristina, 2008)

I graduated as a Clinical Psychologist in 2013 and began my career working with a parent association supporting neurodivergent individuals ages 3 to 30. My passion for working with autistic individuals led me to pursue specialized training and implement evidence-based approaches including TEACCH, PECS, and ABA.

I have extensive experience coordinating with multidisciplinary teams of speech therapists, occupational therapists, and educators. After thriving professionally in France for years, my husband and I moved to Hamburg in 2021 seeking new adventures.

Since 2023, I've worked as a freelance psychologist and behavior therapist, including collaboration with Linden Education Group in Berlin. Following my maternity leave, I returned to practice in November 2024.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is ABA?

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an evidence-based approach that helps individuals develop new skills, improve communication, and reduce challenging behaviors. It's highly individualized, breaking down skills into manageable steps while using positive reinforcement to encourage progress.

What is TEACCH?

The TEACCH approach supports individuals with autism through structured, predictable environments and visual supports. It emphasizes visual schedules, work systems, and clear routines to help children understand expectations and develop independence.

What is RDI?

Relationship Development Intervention (RDI) focuses on building social-emotional connections and dynamic thinking. It emphasizes strengthening parent-child relationships and developing flexible problem-solving skills through guided participation.

How do your sessions work?

Sessions typically take place in the child's natural environment—home, school, or community settings. I offer flexible scheduling and can work in English, French, or Albanian according to your family's preference.

Do you work with schools and other professionals?

Yes, I collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to ensure consistent support across all environments. This multidisciplinary approach helps create comprehensive strategies for each child.

Can I receive financial support from health insurance or public healthcare?

Unfortunately, my services are not automatically covered by the public healthcare system. However, some private health insurance providers may offer partial reimbursement for behavioral therapy services. I recommend contacting your insurance provider directly to inquire about your specific coverage options for psychological and behavioral support services.
